There are sooo many options these days when it comes to creating a presentation to educate or inspire your audience, however the 3 major players which come to mind are Keynote, PowerPoint and PREZI.

Now, not being a MAC user myself (I feel all you MAC users hating on me right now) I'm not really familiar with Keynote, but without tooting my own horn I do have extensive experience creating amazing presentations with PowerPoint and PREZI.

So which one is right for you? It might be your tendency to stick to the one you're most comfortable using, but you may want to consider an alternative depending on what aspects of your presentation are most important to your audience.

Let's take a real good look at them, shall we?

1. Keynote
When it comes to cost, straight up Keynote is the most affordable as (from what I have been told by all you creative folk) is that it is usually pre-installed on most MACs. It's really easy to use and it's great for images and making things look pretty. Keynote is only available on MACs though so if you're a PC user, read up on the next two!

2. Powerpoint
PowerPoint is available for both MAC and PC users, but you'll need to purchase it (it also comes with your Office 365 package). It's a program that most people are comfortable using and is very user friendly. However, depending on the topic of your presentation and the type of info you have to present you may want to consider other options. In saying that, if you really know how to use PowerPoint (advanced user right here) you can definitely create some WOW factor with it.

3. Prezi
Prezi is free for the basic stuff, but if you wanted some of the extra goodies you would need to upgrade and pay a subscription. There is definitely more training required with Prezi, but it such a powerful and engaging tool that it's worth the time to understand how to use it to its full potential. Prezi is very innovative. It's broken the mould of your typical average-looking presentation and it really engages the audience to help them pay attention and understand your message.

After reading this if you're still not sure which one is right for you and your biz, DM me and we can explore these options (or others) in greater detail!
